Kenyan comedian and media personality Dr. Ofweneke has come hard at people posting personal messages with late musician Shalkido after her death.
In his Instagram stories, Ofweneke lamented how some people take advantage of tragedy to trend on the internet. He requested the public to refrain from using death for clout and likes because it is disrespectful to the dead.
”Let’s make it cool not to use death for clout and likes!! If you literally do not know the person, it is not a need to post. How sick are you to try to get likes with death!” Ofweneke posted.
He went on to state that the only person who was entitled to make an observation regarding Shalkido was Oga Obinna, whom he described as a true friend who had remained with the deceased artist throughout his life.
”The only person who can speak about Shalkido is Obinna who was a friend and helped him. The rest of you, print out those screenshots from your DMs and throw them away in the bin!” he added.
His message is coming at a time when social media users have been posting screenshots of what they say are their chats with Shalkido, following the artist’s untimely death.
