Popular Bongo musician Diamond Platnumz has addressed allegations going around following an old video of him narrating his hang out with American musician P Diddy.
The Bongo hitmaker acknowledged that he was aware of the trolls that were circulating online but he chose to ignore it all. Diamond Platnumz acknowledged that he still maintains respect towards Sean Diddy Combs due to his music. During an interview with Wasafi, Diamond Platnumz maintained that,
…huwa sijibu comment za watu,” started off the ‘Komasava‘
In translation, “I’m someone who is talked about with words and in different ways… My life online, in art, and in reality are very different things…thus why I don’t usually respond to people’s comments.”
Diamond Platnumz noted that he was among the music stars in the industry hence he didn’t care about the rumours that were circulating online about him. He shared,
(I’m among the mature and resilient artists. You can write and say whatever you want, but I won’t respond, I’m not bothered, and I won’t be shaken,”
Diamond asserted that he still respects P Diddy and therefore he wouldn’t address the accusations that were launched against Sean Combs until the USA courts passed the verdict.
“I won’t pretend to be a commentator on his situation because I haven’t studied law. In short, until the court speaks on the matter, I personally cannot judge him, but I respect him as someone who knows a lot about music,” the Wasafi Media CEO added.
Diddy has been held without bail at jail’s Special Housing Unit at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre. He is waiting trial following human trafficking, sex trafficking and violence charges.
