Kithure Kindiki has flown out of the country on his maiden international trip as the deputy president.
Kindiki left the country on the morning of Friday, November 8, for Gaborone, Botswana.
He is representing President William Ruto at Duma Boko’s inauguration ceremony as president of the Republic of Botswana.
"Left the country this morning for Gaborone, Botswana, to represent President William Samoei Ruto at the swearing in and inauguration ceremony of His Excellency Duma Boko as President of the Republic of Botswana," Kindiki said.
Kindiki was accompanied by senators Fatuma Dullo and Eddy Oketch and MPs Owen Baya, Vincent Musyoka, John Njuguna Kawanjiku, Victor Koech and Elisha Odhiambo.
Notably, the former Interior CS was recently sworn in as deputy president, replacing the impeached Rigathi Gachagua.
