The prime suspect in the murder of 23-year-old Kirinyaga University student Sospeter Onyango Osungo, widely known as Akoko Billionaire, has been arrested.
Detectives based at DCI Kibra arrested Brian Otieno Maurice in connection to the murder of Akoko, who was famed for his lavish lifestyle, on November 18, 2024.
On the fateful day, Akoko was fatally attacked by a gang in the Ayani area of Kibra where he sustained fatal wounds on his back.
Following thorough investigations, three individuals were initially arrested and provided crucial information which led to the apprehension of Otieno.
The main suspect will be arraigned today, Monday, December 9.
