Comedian 2Mbili has taken to social media to seek assistance for embattled car dealer and influencer Khalif Kairo, who remains in remand after failing to secure his bail. The comedian emphasized that while Kairo’s missteps are well known, what he needs now is support to regain his freedom.

Khalif Kairo, whose real name is Joseph Kairo Wambui, is facing yet another legal challenge. Reports indicate that he was arrested on Tuesday, March 25, over allegations of failing to deliver a BMW that had already been fully paid for. This incident adds to his growing legal woes, following previous accusations related to undelivered vehicles.

A day after his arrest, Kairo was presented in court and granted bail set at KSh 2 million on Wednesday, March 26. However, he later took to social media to express his inability to meet the bail conditions, meaning he would remain in remand for the time being.

In a heartfelt message posted online, Kairo shared his struggles, citing frustration from law enforcement and the difficulty of resolving the issues he faces.

“I keep trying to rebuild and settle issues, but the police frustration is really taking a toll. I will not be able to raise the KSh 2 million bond, so it’s remand for now. We will rebuild, restructure, and God will see us through. I’m going offline, nawapenda, and keep praying for me,” he wrote.

On Wednesday, April 2, comedian 2Mbili took to Instagram, calling on car enthusiasts and friends of Kairo to step up and assist. He described Kairo as an inspiration to many in the automotive industry and urged the community to come together in his time of need.

2Mbili proposed a fundraising initiative, suggesting that if well-wishers could contribute KSh 1 million, Kairo could cover the remaining amount. He emphasized the importance of rallying behind one of their own, ensuring that Kairo gets a chance to rebuild his career and resolve his legal challenges.
