Manchester United has finalized an agreement with Sporting Lisbon to hire Ruben Amorim as their new head coach.
As part of the arrangement, Amorim will remain with Sporting for their next three matches, including a crucial clash against Manchester City on Tuesday and another against Braga on November 10.
The 39-year-old is anticipated to take charge at Old Trafford during the November international break, with his debut match scheduled for United’s away game at Ipswich on November 24.
He will replace Erik ten Hag who was fired on Monday after a dismal stretch that saw the team secure just one victory in their last eight matches.
