Kenyan model and Miss World Kenya, Ivy Trizah, has touched down in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, to represent the nation of Kenya at the 73rd Miss World competition.

Trizah, a 23-year-old from Matunda Municipality in Nzoia Ward, Kakamega County, marks the beginning of her humanitarian advocacy on one of the world’s most prestigious stages.

Trizah, adorned Miss World Kenya, carried the Kenyan flag with confidence, stepping into the international arena and making a statement of identity and purpose.

“As I begin my journey to Vietnam, I do so with immense gratitude. Every mile I travel is for us and every moment on that stage will be for Kenya,” Trizah said.

The Miss World competition is not merely a showcase of beauty but a platform where contestants embody their nation’s values, cultures and humanitarian commitments. She is expected to spotlight issues close to Kenya’s heart, such as education, community empowerment and cultural preservation, extending beyond the runway and inspiring young women who boldly dream and who pursue the opportunities on international platforms.
