The Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA-Kenya) has spoken out against the disturbing sexual misconduct allegations involving a teacher at Alliance Girls High School.
The organisation is calling for immediate action and accountability after a revealing investigative report by Africa Uncensored.
The report revealed multiple claims of abuse by a teacher and Christian Union patron at the school.
FIDA-Kenya has saluted the bravery of the students who came forward to share their painful experiences, stating that their voices have exposed years of institutional silence, failure and betrayal.
"This is not just about one school or one teacher, it’s about a system that continues to fail our girls. We stand with every survivor who has broken their silence,” the organisation said in a statement released on July 8, 2025.
The federation is now providing legal and psychosocial support to affected students and is calling on the Ministry of Education and the school’s board to launch swift investigations and introduce stronger safeguards across all learning institutions.
FIDA-Kenya insists that justice must be served and schools must become safe spaces, not sites of silence and suffering.
