Newborns at Gatundu Hospital experienced a touching act of generosity after real estate firm Wilstone Homes visited the facility and donated essential items to mothers and infants in the newborn unit.
The philanthropic visit formed part of the company’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility, with the firm choosing to mark a special occasion by giving back to the community.
According to Wilstone Homes, community empowerment remains central to its mission, and supporting families at the earliest stages of life is a key pillar of that commitment.
“At Wilstone Homes, it’s not just about building houses; we also value our corporate social responsibility. I could not find a better place to celebrate this day than here at the newborn unit,” Managing Director Ejidio Kinyanjui said during the event.
He noted that investing in children symbolizes investing in the country’s future.“These young ones are the future customers and leaders of tomorrow. Our intention is to ensure they grow in an empowered environment so they can take this country to the next level,” he added.
The visit comes at a time when Wilstone Homes is preparing for one of its most significant milestones yet. Next month, the company is set to hand over the highly anticipated Manna Estate in Kiambu—an ambitious development expected to transform Kenya’s real estate landscape.
Kinyanjui revealed that the estate represents a new chapter for housing in the region.“We are about to unveil something unthinkable. This estate will shift the conversations we have in Kenya about real estate. In our estimation, it is the largest estate ever developed in East and Central Africa,” he said.
The Gatundu Hospital outreach reaffirmed Wilstone Homes’ dedication to community upliftment, demonstrating that its vision extends beyond building homes to building hope and supporting future generations.Ends
