David Athman Ndakwa has been declared the winner of the hotly contested Malava Constituency by-election held on Thursday, November 27.

Ndakwa, who vied on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, garnered 21,564 votes to be declared the winner.

In the results announced by IEBC Returning Officer Salim Abdalla Salim, Seth Panyako of the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) came closely second with 20,210 votes.

Wilberforce Indai of Kenya Moja came in at third place with 626 votes.
