Two police officers and a civilian were arrested while committing a robbery in Githurai, Nairobi County, by fellow officers on patrol.
On Monday night, Police Officers Fredrick Githinji Waithera, Edward Chege Mwangi, and civilian Kelvin Chomba were caught in the act along the Githurai-Soweto railway line.
They were found assaulting a member of the public, attempting to steal his valuables.
The officers acted swiftly, intervening and arresting the three suspects.
They were then escorted to Githurai Police Post, where they are undergoing processing and will be arraigned in court today.
