Kenyan YouTuber and social media influencer Thee Pluto is causing a wave on social media after a video of him attempting to flyboard in Bali, Indonesia, became viral on the internet.
The short clip, which shows him standing on a flyboard with the help of an instructor, quickly went viral, with fans having mixed reactions. While some praised him for trying out the extreme water sport, others turned the moment into a roast session full of jokes stating that he had joined the ‘forex’ alias the sim 2 gang
Taking to Instagram stories, Thee Pluto complained about the criticism on his social media pages. He explained that flyboarding, especially for a beginner, requires support in the interest of safety.
“Kenyans should just stop it maaaahn!! How was I supposed to flyboard if I hadn’t done it before?” he wrote.
In a more aggressive response, the content creator attacked those who were taunting him, calling their remarks shallow. With the Kiswahili expression “Lakini mko na akili finyu sana” (loosely translated as “But you have very narrow minds”), he condemned the culture of online users misinterpreting content.
He later shared screenshots of the comments with the caption: “Y’all joke too much ooh!!”, expressing frustration and also amusement at how far the talk had gone.
