The Social Health Authority has posted more than 500 jobs in its various departments from junior supporting positions to senior officer levels.
SHA, in a statement, said the recruitment exercise is as a result of its mandate under the Social Health Insurance Act, 2023, to promote its human resources and fulfill its vision for equal access to quality healthcare for all Kenyans. The applications window is until October 2, 2025.
“All these positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms,” the Authority confirmed.
Among the posts are three Senior Driver and one Senior Office Assistant posts, both of which require a minimum KCSE Grade D qualification.
Applicants for the post of driver must have at least nine years of professional driving experience, current BCE licence, defensive driving course certification, and first aid certification.
Senior Office Assistant applicants will also need nine years of experience, computer skills, and proven experience in handling office errands, mail, and general administration.
The majority of the posts are in County and Huduma Centre operations. SHA seeks 47 Principal Registration and Compliance/Claims Management Officers, 183 Senior Registration and Compliance/Claims Management Officers, 99 Senior Registration and Compliance Officers, and 96 Senior Claims Management Officers.
There are other career opportunities in finance, HR, admin, ICT, legal services, supply chain, customer experience, planning, and internal audit.
These opportunities are both at the Principal Officer and Senior Officer levels.
Applicants must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution to qualify.
This involves clearance from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a valid Credit Reference Bureau.
Interested candidates should include a cover letter, updated CV, academic and professional certificates, and three referees’ contacts at least.
