Sixty coaches have successfully graduated from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) B and C coaching courses in a ceremony held at the Kenya Institute of Education on Friday.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Deputy President Doris Petra and CEO Patrick Korir commended the graduates for their dedication to advancing their coaching careers and improving the standards of football in the country.
This year’s CAF C cohort made history as the first all-female group to complete the program, highlighting the federation’s ongoing efforts to empower women in the sport.
Petra emphasized the significance of providing coaches with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster talent nationwide.
“These graduations represent not only individual growth but also a collective leap forward for Kenyan football,” she said. “We are proud of the progress we’re making in raising coaching standards at every level.”
The event also set the stage for another CAF C graduation on December 6, which will mark the conclusion of a successful year for FKF’s coaching development initiatives.
