Silvana Wambui Kajim has revealed experiences during childbirth and labour. In her Youtube video, Wambui displayed annoyance with Kajim for sleeping during active labor. Wambui shared that her labor pains started at around 10:00 a.m but her husband’s attempts to comfort her didn’t go as planned.
“You tried to rub my back, but I told you your hands were rough.I don’t know what happens when you’re on that bed, but we don’t like seeing men around during labor.”
“And then I’m in labor, and this guy has made himself comfortable, sleeping,” she said. Kajim, on the other hand, defended himself, saying, “What did you want me to do, babe? I was praying! You refused to let me rub your back.”
“You were supposed to just stand there and look at me. I labored from 10, and it got intense from 11 until 5, and you were asleep!”
Kajim defended himself saying he was praying for her. He in sisted, “I said, let me just rest here.” Wambui objected adding that she found it unfair, “How dare you sleep in the same room I’m laboring in?”
Wambui acknowledged that Kajim prayed for her when she felt like giving up, “He did go get the anointing oil from the car. I felt like fainting; it took a lot of energy out of me.”
Wambui laughed off the complaints and Kajim insisted that he prayed for her in a way to support her.
