Police in Nairobi are investigating the death of their colleague who failed to report to work for three days.
Constable Geoffrey Kinzi Indire was based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
He missed from his workplace from Tuesday prompting his colleagues to check on him in his house at Embakasi area.
He was also not responding to his calls and when fellow officers went to his house, they found it locked from inside.
Through the widow they spotted Indire, 35, lying on the bed unresponsive.
This forced them to cut the window grill to access the scene.
The body had no visible injuries and was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.
Police said they are yet to know the cause of the death.
