Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki has called on Kenyans to support government’s economic empowerment agenda, emphasizing its commitment to delivering transformative development across the country.
Speaking in Taita Taveta county, Kindiki enumerated some of the projects the government is undertaking in the region, including the last-mile electricity connectivity, amounting to 767 million shillings.
He said the government is also keen on expanding water projects in the county to deal with human-wildlife conflict, noting that each person and family affected will be fully compensated.
Kindiki, who was accompanied by a host of leaders, urged locals to keep off leaders preaching divisive politics.
