This festive season Showmax will unveil its dating show dubbed Nairobi Bachelor that is set to premier on 6th December 2024. The show will be hosted by celebrity couple Koku Lwanga and Daddie Marto. The show navigates the difficulties of modern love and of finding their perfect romantic partners. Revealing details about the inspiration behind the showmax series, Director Clementina Kabutha revealed,
“Nairobi Bachelor was born from the desire to revolutionise the traditional dating show format.
We wanted to create a platform that mirrors the complexities of modern love, where emotional connection, shared values, and the ability to handle life’s challenges are paramount.”
Speaking about how she came across the opportunity, Co-host Koku Lwanga said that she saw the opportunity as a chance to grow and also embrace a new challenge. she revealed,
“When the opportunity came up, I was excited and a little terrified. Hosting a show like this was completely outside my comfort zone, but I saw it as a chance to grow and embrace something new.

The show will premier on 6th December 2024, and air every Friday.
