Shimo La Tewa High School has maintained an impressive seven-year record without a student strike or cases of indiscipline, according to Chief Principal Mutiso Mbindi.

Speaking at the school compound in Mombasa County, Mr. Mbindi said the institution is now entering its eighth year of uninterrupted calm as they await the final Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.

“We have never had a strike in the past seven years, and as we receive our KCSE results, we are confident that this discipline will continue to reflect in our academic performance,” he said.

Mr. Mbindi revealed that the school has received provisional KCSE results and is awaiting the official announcement to determine its overall mean score.

“As a school, we thank the Almighty God for answering our prayers. Despite the odds, the provisional results indicate we have performed well, and we are celebrating this milestone,” he added.

The principal attributed the school’s success to a committed team of teachers and students, emphasizing their dedication to excellence.

“We had a strong team of teachers and students, and we are optimistic about achieving even better results in this year’s national examinations,” said Mr. Mbindi.

Shimo La Tewa High School, a national institution, continues to uphold its reputation for discipline and academic excellence, making it a beacon of inspiration in the region.
