In a 2022 interview with The Breakfast Club, an American syndicated radio show, Shenseea shared some insights into her dating life, including revealing that she was in a relationship at the time. She also mentioned that her longest relationship had lasted three years and that she had only been in two relationships overall.
When discussing the challenges that female celebrities face in relationships, Shenseea pointed out the harsh judgments women often receive. “I’ve seen how people classify females as ‘hoes’ because they break up with one person and move on to another,” she explained.
The artist also talked about the struggles of dating while being in the public eye, noting, “As a female, when you have so much going on—money, fame—you don’t know if a regular guy is really good for you. You don’t know if they want money, fame, or if they’re trying to set you up because they have nothing to lose.”
Shenseea emphasized the importance of self-worth and staying true to oneself. She added, “You need to be with someone who also has something to lose. But even if things don’t work out or they abuse you, should you stay to please the public?”
