Pan-African luxury fragrance house Scent of Africa has officially launched its Eternal Legends fragrance collection in Kenya, marking its entry into one of East Africa’s fastest-growing luxury markets.
The Nairobi launch introduced Kenyan consumers to the brand’s signature perfumes, inspired by African identity and heritage.
Speaking at the event, Scent of Africa Sales Manager, Loice Muforo, said the move reflected the brand’s mission to celebrate the continent’s ingenuity and creativity through perfumery.
“We are thrilled to bring Scent of Africa to Kenya, a country that embodies the vibrant spirit and dynamism of the continent,” Muforo said. “Our fragrances are a testament to African ingenuity, creativity, and heritage. By introducing our products to Kenya, we are not only offering a new luxury experience but also contributing to the narrative of African-made excellence on the global stage.”
The Eternal Legends collection features perfumes created with African-sourced ingredients, including Buchu from South Africa, Cedar from Morocco, and Vanilla from Madagascar, blended by internationally acclaimed perfumers. According to Muforo, each scent is designed to be a tribute to the continent, weaving authenticity with luxury.
The brand’s expansion into Kenya comes amid rising demand for high-end goods and services. Denis Gikunda, Managing Director at Lintons, the brand’s retail partner in Kenya, said the launch highlights the country’s growing importance in the African luxury landscape.
“This launch is more than just a market entry; it is a significant business development that underscores the growing potential of Africa’s luxury sector,” Gikunda noted. “Kenya, with its rising number of high-net-worth individuals and a discerning consumer base, presents a key market for the brand’s expansion.”
Industry analysts say Kenya’s luxury market has experienced strong growth in recent years, driven by an expanding middle and upper class, as well as increasing appreciation for premium, locally inspired products.
With its arrival in Nairobi, Scent of Africa joins a select group of international and regional brands tapping into the country’s luxury retail sector. The fragrances will be available at Lintons stores across the city, offering Kenyan consumers an opportunity to experience perfumes rooted in African heritage but designed for global appeal.
The launch marks not just a business expansion but also a cultural statement, positioning Scent of Africa as a brand that seeks to redefine the global luxury narrative with Africa at its core.
