President William Ruto has been criticised by some quarters over his huge donations to churches.
Recently, the Catholic Church in Nairobi turned down his KSh 2.6 million donation to the Soweto Catholic Church on Sunday, November 17, vowing to refund the money.
However, despite the criticism, President Ruto has vowed to continue donating to and building churches.
Speaking on Sunday, November 24, during an interdenominational church service at Kipsitet Primary School in Kericho County, Ruto said as the Bible states, it is more blessed to give than receive.
Speaking from his own experience, the president said he has been donating to churches for over 30 years, and by the grace of God, he has never lacked.
"I have built churches for over 30 years. I have never lacked because I know the secrets of giving and I know what it does. Me as William Ruto, I am a product of giving and therefore I know what I should do," said President Ruto.
