Nominated MP Sabina Chege has joined leaders and Kenyans in mourning the death of Martin Michuki Njoroge, son of the late former Cabinet Minister John Michuki.

In a message of condolence shared on social media, Sabina Chege expressed sympathy to the bereaved family following Martin’s death after a long illness.

“My deepest condolences to the Michuki family. May God grant you strength during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Martin,” the legislator stated.

Martin Michuki Njoroge passed away on May 3, 2026, according to a family announcement released earlier.

The family said Martin, who was born on December 17, 1961, will be buried at the Kangema family home in a private ceremony, with a memorial service set to be announced later.
