President William Ruto on Friday visited the mausoleum of the late former President Daniel arap Moi at the family’s Kabarak home in Nakuru County, in what observers view as a significant political gesture.

During the visit, the Head of State laid a wreath at the late president’s tomb before holding a private meeting with KANU chairman Gideon Moi.

Ruto was received by Gideon and other family members, underscoring a moment of renewed warmth between the two political camps.

The visit, coming a day after Gideon Moi announced his withdrawal from the Baringo Senate race.
