President William Ruto reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to enhancing its relationship with Jamaica, emphasizing the importance of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
In a meeting with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Ruto highlighted the shared values and mutual interests that bind the two nations.
“Kenya values its relations with Jamaica and is committed to strengthening these ties further, both bilaterally and multilaterally,” he stated.
During their discussions, Ruto and Holness focused on the pressing need for international support for the Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti.
The two leaders agreed on the urgency of rallying the global community to provide adequate resources to address the ongoing security and humanitarian challenges in the Caribbean nation.
“Our collaborative efforts are crucial to ensuring peace and stability in Haiti,” Ruto noted, emphasizing the role that both Kenya and Jamaica can play in fostering regional security and development.
