President William Ruto has nominated Mr. Kosiam Frank Ole Kibelekenya, Deputy Director of Land Administration and Management at the National Land Commission (NLC), to serve as Kenya’s Ambassador to Copenhagen, the Kingdom of Denmark.
The nomination, part of a broader reshuffle in Kenya’s Foreign Service, was communicated through a presidential press release and transmitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
This move comes as the government continues to strengthen its diplomatic footprint, which now extends to seventy-two countries and territories.
Mr. Kibelekenya has received messages of goodwill and congratulations from colleagues and well-wishers, who have praised his commitment to public service and his extensive experience in land management.
The nomination is among several appointments aimed at filling diplomatic positions created under newly established missions and vacancies arising from the end of serving diplomats’ tenures.
