President William Ruto on Tuesday reiterated the crucial role that National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) play in the governance and development of Kenya.

Speaking during a meeting at the Kenya School of Government in Lower Kabete, Nairobi, President Ruto emphasized the administration’s commitment to supporting and facilitating these officers to ensure effective leadership within their respective jurisdictions.

During the meeting, which was attended by Regional Commissioners, County Commissioners, and Deputy County Commissioners, the President underscored the importance of NGAOs in unlocking Kenya’s potential and driving the country forward.

He noted that their leadership at various levels is integral to achieving the government’s broader goals of development and progress.

“The National Government Administration Officers are central in the governance and development of our country.We will support and facilitate them to offer leadership in their respective jurisdictions to help unlock our potential and make Kenya move forward.,” said President Ruto.

The meeting highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to empower regional leaders and ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to carry out their duties effectively.

This is part of the administration’s broader strategy to strengthen governance structures across the country and drive sustainable development.

He was accompanied by his deputy Rigathi Gachagua among top senior government officials.
