Energy PS Highlights Ruto Administration’s Achievements
Residents of Ruai Ward in Nairobi City County have commended the ongoing government development projects under the Kenya Kwanza administration, citing improvements in infrastructure and essential services.
Speaking during an engagement with residents in Ruai, Principal Secretary for Energy Alex Kamau Wachira, popularly known as “Wa-Total,” highlighted several projects being implemented by President William Ruto’s administration.
Among the initiatives cited was the Nairobi River Regeneration and Engineering Works Programme, which seeks to restore the Nairobi River basin and transform it into a vibrant urban waterfront while improving the environment and surrounding communities.
The government is also expanding access to clean and reliable piped water across Nairobi, with residents of Ruai among those expected to benefit from improved water infrastructure.
Wachira welcomed the residents’ positive reception to the government’s development agenda, saying their support reflected confidence in the ongoing transformation programmes.
The PS also acknowledged residents who expressed support for President Ruto’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 General Election, as the administration continues to advance its development agenda.
