Kenyatta University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Paul Wainaina has challenged the graduating Class of 2025 to boldly take on the world and use their education to drive positive change in society.
Speaking during the university’s 57th graduation ceremony, Prof. Wainaina praised the students for their hard work, resilience, and commitment, noting that their time at the university had prepared them not just for careers but for leadership and impact.
“You came here with dreams, and today you leave with awards, achievements, and success,” he said.
In a powerful message to the thousands of graduands, Prof. Wainaina reminded them that they were stepping into a fast-changing global landscape, but armed with the skills, knowledge, and networks acquired at KU, they were well equipped to thrive.
“You are entering a world that is dynamic, challenging, and changing. But you leave here empowered — with the confidence to go global,” he said.
The Vice-Chancellor also encouraged those intending to pursue further studies to do so boldly and purposefully.
“If you are to advance your studies, walk into it boldly. Be among the change makers. Remember, your education is not just a personal asset — it’s a tool for transforming society,” he told the graduates.
