Content creator Pritty Vishy has clapped back at critics who questioned her support of cosmetic surgery, telling them to stop policing other women’s choices and instead focus on their own lives. In a string of Instagram Stories, the outspoken influencer addressed people who say women undergoing cosmetic procedures “don’t love themselves.”

Vishy dismissed the criticism as insecure and hypocritical, saying many people judge because they just cannot afford the surgeries that they condemn.

“Imagine telling someone she doesn’t love herself because she has done what you can’t do. You being against it is cool; it’s not by force. But saying ‘you can’t tell me you love yourself and you’ve gone under a knife’ is just wild,” she wrote.

She furthered this by explaining that most of today’s procedures were cosmetic surgeries, and those did not instantly alter a person’s natural body function. Vishy continued to explain that cosmetic enhancements required one to still live a healthy life or risk losing the results.

“It’s cosmetic surgery, which means you can gain the weight back if you don’t check your diet and exercise,” she said. “Only surgeries involving silicone implants create permanent changes.

The digital creator also reminded critics that breast implants don’t automatically provide dramatic changes unless silicone is involved.
