Ohangla star Prince Indah, officially married his longtime partner Winnie NyaMigori McAramis in a grand traditional ceremony held in Migori County on April 12, 2025.

The event was a stunning celebration of culture and love, with elaborate décor and a touch of glamour fit for a star. However, while the couple’s union won the hearts of many, it was Prince Indah’s wedding attire that sparked mixed reactions online.

Some critics took to social media to mock the fabric of his outfit, suggesting it looked like upholstery material meant for sofas. The outfit was custom-made by popular designer Bolo Bespoke, known for crafting bold fashion statements.

In a recent interview with Oga Obinna, Prince Indah finally addressed the chatter, saying the outfit was misunderstood by critics who lacked knowledge of fashion fabrics.

“That material is not for sofa sets, it’s actually very expensive,” he clarified.
“People should understand what they are talking about. If you touched the texture, you'd know it's high quality.”

Indah also took a moment to respond to another rumour — claims that his family was forced to add to the dowry due to the flashy car convoy that accompanied the wedding.

He firmly denied the allegations, asserting that in Luo tradition, dowry is not about flashy appearances or negotiations.

“Luo’s don’t negotiate — I’m their son. That wasn’t an issue,” he said.
“Negotiating feels like selling a human being, and I won’t discuss how much was paid. It’s distasteful.”
