President William Ruto has appointed Professor Makau Mutua as the Senior Advisor of Constitutional Affairs in the Executive Office of the President.
In his announcement of the appointment via his social media pages, President Ruto said Mutua boasts a wealth of experience in legal, constitutional and human rights matters and will be an asset to his government.
"I have appointed Prof Makau Mutua as the Senior Advisor of Constitutional Affairs in the Executive Office of the President. Congratulations Prof Mutua," said Ruto.The head of state welcomed Mutua to the team of dedicated public servants determined to implement the 2022 campaign promises to Kenyans.
"I welcome you to join a dynamic team of public servants in the implementation of our Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda," Ruto added.Mutua will be advising Ruto on constitutional matters, supporting legal reforms, and promoting human rights and the rule of law.
