President William Ruto has commenced his Mount Kenya region tour, making his first stops in Laikipia and Nyeri Counties. The tour is marked by the launch of several key development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, education, and public utilities in the region.

One of the highlights of his visit was the official opening of a new tuition block at Ng’arachi Comprehensive School in Laikipia County.

Speaking at the event, the President emphasized his administration’s commitment to inclusive development, ensuring that no region is left behind. He reiterated that his government seeks to eradicate divisive politics and instead focus on fostering unity and development across all communities in the country.

During his visit to Ng’arachi Comprehensive School, President Ruto also oversaw the Last Mile Connectivity project, which aims to expand electricity access in the area, a crucial step toward enhancing education and economic opportunities for residents.

In Laikipia County, the President also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new classroom block at Nanyuki DEB Primary and Junior School. This project is expected to provide better learning facilities and accommodate the growing student population in the region.

Apart from educational infrastructure, the President highlighted several other initiatives, including road network expansions, improved electricity supply, increased water accessibility, and enhanced healthcare services. These projects are set to significantly improve the livelihoods of local residents by boosting economic activities and access to essential services.

As his tour continues, President Ruto is expected to unveil multiple development projects across Laikipia and Nyeri Counties today, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to regional development and national progress.
