Police in Nairobi have arrested four male suspects and recovered a plastic revolver during a night patrol operation along Kenyatta Avenue in the early hours of June 4, 2025.
The arrests followed a public tip-off after one of the individuals was seen brandishing what resembled a firearm at a petrol station.
Officers on patrol swiftly responded, intercepting the suspects inside a vehicle at around 1:25 a.m.
A search of the car led to the recovery of a plastic revolver, six rubber bullets, and a knife labeled “AK47.” The suspects, who appeared intoxicated at the time, were taken into custody for further interrogation, and the vehicle impounded as investigations continue.
