Geoffrey Mosiria has called out on Pastor Kanyari and narrated a bizarre church service led by the notorious preacher. In a social media post “Tuambiane Ukweli! Tulikosea Mungu Wapi?”, Mosiria described Pastor Kanyari delivering a sermon eating nyama choma, his members seated quietly watching him in silence.
The twist? The meat, according to reports, was for members who had contributed KSh 300 to the church welfare fund the rest of the believers simply to admire the aroma from afar.
“Nauliza na sio kwa ubaya,” wrote Mosiria. “Church ya Kanyari anaubiri akikula nyama choma na mbele yake waumini wanamtazama. Kumbe alikuwa serious, kama hauna shares ya 300 bob ya welfare huwezi kufurahia hizi privileges.”
Mosiria went on to denounce the exploitation of poor believers by some modern-day preachers, claiming that brainwashing and manipulation have become too common in the name of religion.
“People brainwash the poor and use them because they are ignorant. That is why the poor man in church will never be out of poverty he gives all the time but receives nothing in return,” he continued.
Mosiria concluded by calling on Kenyans to shift their focus to the true gospel of Jesus Christ, reminding readers that true men of God preach for calling, not for profit.
