Kiambu Golf Club is hosting the latest leg of the 2025 NCBA Golf Series, marking the fourth qualifier event of the year.
Around 200 golfers are set to compete in what promises to be a fiercely contested round, with spots at the series Grand Finale later this year up for grabs.
In a first for the tournament, a brand-new JCB Backhoe Loader, Model 3DX construction machine, will be offered as a hole-in-one prize.
The machine will be awarded to any golfer who makes a hole-in-one at the designated par-3 eighth hole during the tournament.
This exciting new incentive is the result of a partnership between NCBA and JCB Ganatra Plant and Equipment Ltd, a leading construction and agricultural equipment dealer, which will provide high-performance machines as hole-in-one prizes at select tournaments throughout the 2025 NCBA Golf Series.

Ahead of the Kiambu tournament, Lennox Mugambi, NCBA’s Group Director for Asset Finance and Business Solutions, shared his excitement:
“We’re incredibly excited to head to Kiambu Golf Club this weekend, and even more thrilled with the addition of the hole-in-one challenge. The opportunity to win a state-of-the-art machine will add a new level of excitement to the series, and we’re confident it will elevate the experience for both experienced golfers and newcomers alike.”
Altaf Ganatra, Managing Director at JCB Ganatra Plant and Equipment Ltd, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the shared values between the two institutions.
“The addition of the hole-in-one prize brings an extra layer of excitement to what is already one of the region’s most dynamic amateur golf circuits,” he said.

The 2025 NCBA Golf Series, which began in January, will feature 41 qualifier events across golf courses in Kenya and the East African region.
