Over 1.3 million Grade 6 learners have begun their Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).
KPSEA, which began in 2022, is part of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and aims to facilitate the students’ transition to Junior Secondary School.
Today, Monday, October 28, the students will sit their Mathematics and English papers, followed by Integrated Science and Kiswahili on Tuesday before concluding with Creative Arts and Social Studies on Wednesday.
The exam is being held in 32,573 centres nationwide.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos said the government has placed adequate measures to ensure that all national examinations run smoothly.
