OPPO Kenya has announced the launch of Reno16 Series, introducing two new smartphones featuring a cosmic-inspired design, premium finishes and display options tailored to different consumer preferences.
Announced on October 26, 2026, the series comprises the OPPO Reno16 5G and Reno16 F 5G, with recommended retail prices of KSh 79,999 and KSh 69,999, respectively.
The new devices introduce OPPO’s 3D Pop Planet Design, inspired by cosmic visuals and the idea of individuals expressing their unique identities through technology.
According to OPPO Kenya, the design combines distinctive aesthetics with craftsmanship to create smartphones that stand out while maintaining everyday usability.
“The 3D Pop Planet Design reflects our commitment to combining creativity with thoughtful craftsmanship, giving Kenyan consumers a device that is as distinctive in appearance as it is expressive of their personal style,” said Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager at OPPO Kenya.
The Pop White edition features HoloVerse 3D Technology, which uses millions of micro-lenses to create a floating, nebula-inspired visual effect that changes with light and movement.
The series also features a one-piece, cold-sculpted back cover that integrates seamlessly with the camera module, creating a smooth finish designed to reduce dust accumulation around the camera area.
In terms of display, the Reno16 5G features a 6.32-inch screen designed for comfortable one-handed operation and an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. The Reno16 F 5G comes with a larger 6.57-inch display suited to entertainment, content consumption and creative activities.
Both models will be available in Pop White and Twilight Violet.
Pre-orders opened on October 26 and will run until November 4, 2026, through OPPO stores, authorised dealers and e-commerce platforms in Kenya.
Customers who pre-order either device during the promotional period will receive OPPO TWS earbuds, six months of screen protection, a 10,000mAh OPPO power bank and three months of Gemini Pro with 5TB of storage.
The launch expands OPPO’s Reno smartphone range in Kenya, with the two models targeting consumers seeking a combination of distinctive design, everyday functionality and different screen sizes.
