The ongoing protests to mark a year since the killing of Gen Zs during a protest against Finance bill 2024/25 has claimed a life in Machakos county.
A protester was shot dead as they reportedly tried to storm Matuu Police station it was reported that the protesters with placards and chanting slogans had camped outside the police station when the hell broke loose.
Several others were injured as police tried to disperse the peaceful protesters.
Similar peaceful demonstrations have been witnessed across cities and towns in Kenya.
