Simon Kabu, CEO of Bonfire Adventures, has cleared up the confusion surrounding the woman assaulted by his wife, Sarah Kabu, in a viral CCTV video. In the footage, Sarah is seen attacking an unidentified woman, and Simon has confirmed that the woman was employed as a nanny at their home. He explained that she had been working for some time, assisting with childcare and household cleaning.

Kabu also mentioned that the nanny had undergone thorough vetting and was known to his wife.

“She was a professional nanny here in this house. Recruited professionally by my HR. She came here on the 14th of… at that time, whatever you see on that video happened that morning, and she had been here for a month prior. We had been meeting, and the kids were coming here, and she was playing with them. That unfortunate incident happened that morning, and I don’t know why it happened. The lady was hurt. My relationship with her and any other nanny has always been professional, employer and employee.”

He strongly refuted rumors that the woman was his lover or that he had impregnated her, emphasizing that their relationship was strictly professional. “Guys, truly, even now after she left, I have a nanny here. I am a professional person. There are rumours I see that the lady was pregnant. Guys, this lady or any other lady has ever been pregnant with my child. None. There is not even one. Someone can come out and I will pay them.”
