Musician and former Starehe MP Charles Kanyi, alias Jaguar, has landed a plum government position.
President William Ruto appointed Jaguar to be a member of the Commission on Administrative Justice.
In a gazette notice dated December 5, 2024, seen by TUKIO.co.ke, Jaguar was appointed to the commission alongside Dorothy Jemator Kimengech.
Notably, Jaguar did not seek re-election in the 2022 General Election after he failed to clinch the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.
Still on the appointments, President Ruto appointed former MP Rehema Jaldesa as the chairperson of the National Gender and Equality Commission.
