Former Tahidi High actor Dennis Mugo has broken his silence after a viral video of him partying at a nightclub sparked mixed reactions on social media.
Mugo, popularly known as OJ, dismissed the criticism, saying he has always enjoyed having fun with his friends and will not be distracted by negative comments.
“I have always had fun wherever I am with my friends,” he wrote in a post on his social media pages.
The actor also accused some media houses of spreading rumours and attempting to tarnish his name instead of reporting responsibly.
“The continued support of rumourmongering by some so called media stations is not only welcome but tushazoea,” he said.
Mugo urged journalists to uphold professionalism, adding that he would continue living his life despite the criticism.
“I on the other hand shall continue to do me,” he added.
His statement comes days after a video showing him at a nightclub went viral online.
The clip attracted widespread attention, with some social media users expressing concern about his lifestyle while others defended his right to enjoy his private life.
Mugo’s response is his first public reaction since the video surfaced.
