ODM party leader Oburu Oginga has left the country for Dubai.
Rumours have been circulating online about the motive for the travel, with allegations of ill health being thrown around.
Taking to social media, Oburu’s sister, Ruth Odinga, clarified that he has travelled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to rest following what she described as a hectic political period.
"ODM party leader Oburu Oginga has travelled to Dubai for a 3-day visit to rest following a hectic political period," said Ruth.Notably, since the demise of Raila Odinga, Oburu, 82, has been active in a series of high-profile party and national engagements, including the ODM at 20 celebrations in Mombasa.
