The Ministry of Repentance and Holiness founder, Prophet David Owuor, has denied reports that he prophesied the world would end on August 2 at midnight.
Through his church’s X account, the controversial preacher flagged the posts circulating the alleged prophecy as fake.
As captured in Holy Books, Owuor reiterated that nobody knows the day and the hour when the world will end.
The preacher termed the posts as false, baseless, malicious, and intended to harm not only his reputation but also the unity and testimony of his church.
"We urge all members and the public to refrain from sharing or entertaining unverified stories. As believers, we are called to pursue truth, peace, and righteousness. Let us not be quick to spread gossip, but instead be diligent in prayer, discernment, and unity," the church said.
