The Kenyan media fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the untimely death of seasoned journalist Nick Mudimba.
Mudimba, formerly a news anchor at KTN News and CGTN Africa, collapsed and died at his home in Syokimau, Machakos county, on the evening of Sunday, March 23.
He reportedly died hours after watching the Harambee Stars match against Gabon at Nyayo Stadium, which the former lost 2-1.
This publication has learned that the bubbly journalist had been unwell and had received treatment before his sudden death.
His fellow journalists and close friends have since taken to social media to mourn him, penning heartfelt tributes.
