Transport on Magadi Road has been disrupted after students of Multimedia University went on rampage this morning.
They barricaded the busy road and set tyres protesting persistent water shortage in the institution.
Student leader Naomi Oketch said they had gone for days without water and last week on Thursday they issued a strike notice to the administration.
Failure by the administration to act on their complaints has prompted the protest.
