Former Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari is dead.
Buhari breathed his last on Sunday, July 13, while receiving treatment at a hospital in London, United Kingdom.
"President Buhari died today in London at about 4:30 p.m. (1530 GMT), following a prolonged illness," Nigeria President Bola Tinubu's spokesperson said in a post on X.Buhari led Nigeria between 2015 and 2023.
He died aged 82.
