Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Thursday chaired the first National Development Implementation Committee (NDIC) meeting of 2025 at the Kenya School of Government, focusing on economic progress and reducing dependence on external aid.

The high-level meeting, a follow-up to engagements from 2023 and 2024, reviewed Kenya’s economic outlook, acknowledging positive growth trends while emphasizing the need for innovative domestic financing strategies to drive national development.

“Two years since the inaugural NDIC session, we have assessed our progress and reaffirmed the importance of citizen-focused service delivery, backed by data-driven performance tracking and strong feedback mechanisms,” Mudavadi stated.

The discussions highlighted the evolving needs of Kenyans, stressing the importance of efficient policy implementation and sustainable financial strategies to accelerate national development.
