Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, alongside Ministers of Foreign Affairs from COMESA member states, participated in a high-level session to advance regional stability and cooperation.

The meeting concluded with the adoption of a pivotal report from the 19th COMESA Peace and Security Committee meeting, which outlines strategic measures aimed at strengthening peace and security across the region.

The comprehensive report proposes initiatives to bolster peace frameworks, support secure environments for trade and investment, and promote sustainable economic growth.

In his address, Prime CS Mudavadi emphasized the critical need for cohesive action, noting that peace and stability are integral to the prosperity of all COMESA member states.
