Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Odinga family following the passing of Beryl Achieng Odinga, sister to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Senator Oburu Odinga.
In a statement on Wednesday, Owino said the news of her death while receiving medical care was deeply saddening and acknowledged the pain her family is going through.
“Tragedy can sometimes strike more than once, and the pain can be overwhelming. But God gives us the strength to endure. To the Odinga family, you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” he said.
He added, “We stand with you and pray that God gives you strength. May the soul of our sister Beryl Achieng Odinga rest in eternal peace.”
Beryl Achieng Odinga’s passing is a significant loss to a family that has long been a prominent presence in Kenya’s political and public life.
